Tune in every week for a feast of interesting, enlightening, and random talk radio.
Host Jonathan James Cramer recently settled back in the United States after 16 years in Quebec. During his expat years, he hosted several radio shows in French on various musical styles such as Bollywood and Irish traditional. In addition to his radio work, Cramer has written and directed several plays starring noted Montreal artists Stephen Shellen, Morgan O’Shea, and George Hamilton Braithwaite. He currently resides in the New York City area with his wife and various domesticated animals.
Steven Matthew Birkeland is a native New Yorker. Having grown up beachside in a small town on Long Island, the allure of Manhattan brought Steven to settle in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood on Manhattan’s west side. During three years of secondary education at Manhattan College, Steven co-hosted a weekly music/call in program that was rated by students as one of the best hours on air. In 1994, Steven was assigned to CNN, Style with Elsa Klensch before making the switch into the restaurant and hospitality business as a co-owner of the event planning and catering company called Fruits and Nuts in East Hampton, New York. After some soul searching, Steven went back to school for a masters in education and worked as a school guidance counselor in the south Bronx with the New York City Department of Education before his appointment to his current position as the Special Education Evaluation, Placement and Program Officer for the Committee on Special Education in Manhattan. Steven’s love of the epicurean and zeal for life will bring a sense of humor and levity to tough conversations and strong support to callers during The Continual Condition.
